If you are a person with business expertise and leadership abilities and you also wish to help others in their business pursuits, you may want to apply for SCORE membership.

If you are someone that enjoys the experiences of mentoring others, being helpful in problem solving and empowering others to reach their highest aspirations, you may want to JOIN SCORE.

SCORE A NON-PROFIT LOOKING FOR DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS

SCORE is a non-profit organization comprised of a collegial group of former and present business leaders that offer their expertise pro bona. Some members have started and owned businesses, some have extensive experience in top corporations, and some are recognized experts in key business aspects, e.g. marketing, international, retail sales, manufacturing, technology and many more. SCORE strength is its broad range of backgrounds which collectively offer valuable perspectives on many topics.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION REQUIRED

SCORE members all submit to SCORE National an Application for Membership. Once approved the new member begins training and follows an orientation program.

SIGNED CODE OF ETHICS REQUIRED

SCORE operates within a strict Code of Ethics that retains the integrity of the organization and guarantees for each client the protection of their interests.

SCORE MEMBERS AGREE TO PARTICIPATE AS A TEAM

SCORE needs filled by members include counseling monthly, presenting workshops and participating in the operating and leadership aspects of the Chapter. Your role is defined and compatible with your other priorities.

AS A SCORE MEMBER YOU WILL:

Be a leader in the effort to provide real-world assistance to small businesses.

Gain fulfillment by sharing your business experience and expertise with a new generation of entrepreneurs.

Build relationships with local business leaders and provide economic growth and employment opportunities in the local area.

Connect with entrepreneurs through counseling, or share your knowledge at SCORE’s entrepreneurial training workshops.

By contacting our SCORE office or speaking to a member, you can start the process of becoming a SCORE Counselor. By attending a SCORE meeting as a guest or attending a SCORE workshop you can explore Score’s role in the business community.
