Resource Partners

SCORE provides its services to small businesses through partnerships with many organizations together providing a vast and effective range of resources and services. These relationships are critical to the successes realized as SCORE helps the small business community across the USA.

SCORE National:

As a national organization SCORE provides, via its website, www.SCORE.org significant services many accessed via email and internet.

Small Business Administration (SBA):

Since SCORE’s creation, the SBA has aided SCORE financially and via many support programs. Its website www.SBAonline.sba.gov  provides access to many capabilities in particular relating to loans and financial support.

Chamber of Commerce:

Local Chambers of Commerce in Western Massachusetts work with SCORE providing local capability for SCORE counseling and workshops. Appointments for SCORE counseling can be arranged via Chamber offices. Contact your local chamber directly if listed on the left.

Bank Sponsors:

Supporting banks offer support to SCORE financially and through training support. During 2008 and 2009, TDBankNorth, Hampden Bank, Florence Savings Bank and Greenfield Savings Bank were contributing resource partners.

Professional Services:

Several accounting and legal firms provide a level of pro bono support and guidance as SCORE requests specific expertise for its clients.  Meyers Brothers Kalicka P.C. in accounting and Nicolai Law Group P.C. in law stand out in their responsiveness. The Department of Elder Affairs Senior Aides Program has for many years supported our Springfield office with professional staff.

Educational Institutions:

Working with schools, SCORE has resource partners that enrich SCORE’s access and support for business leaders of the future. Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) and its Scibelli Enterprise Center provide the main office SCORE location and connects SCORE to many benefitting from SCORE support.  Western England College offers a counseling location and provides intern experiences with SCORE.  Westfield Vocational and Technical High School is the location for an entrepreneurial teaching program for young people entering the business work and just starting small businesses.
