WORKSHOPS FOR BUSINESS EFFECTIVENESS and GROWTH!

Planning and growing a profitable business requires diverse business leadership and technical skills. SCORE offers effective Workshops ranging from defining business concept to planning, marketing and running your business at any level.

All SCORE Workshops cover immutable business leadership and management disciplines for businesses of any size or at any stage of development.

There is a $25 investment for each workshop to cover workbooks and materials as applicable. Payments are accepted via cash or check in advance or at the actual event.

HOW TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS

Who Should Participate? This is an ideal workshop specifically for people interested or actually planning to start their own business.

What Topics Will Be Covered? Participants will experience the stories of real entrepreneurs and the motivation, process, skill sets and rewards of starting and building a successful company.

When and Where Do I Go? Every month on the 4th Friday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Scibelli Enterprise Center location at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC).

 

BUSINESS PLANNING & CASH FLOW

Who Should Participate? This workshop is for people who are serious about increasing their odds of business success and sustainable growth. If you're starting your own business or have been running a business without a documented plan of action, this workshop is for you.

What Topics Will Be Covered? This is hands-on workshop which covers the entire anatomy of an effective business plan and financial reporting. Participants will receive a step-by-step workbook and CD necessary to activate and implement an effective Business Plan.

When and Where Do I Go? Every month on the 2nd Friday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Scibelli Enterprise Center location at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC).

 

BUILDING AN EFFECTIVE SALES AND MARKETING PLAN

Who Should Participate? This workshop is for business owners who want to get the highest return on their sales and marketing investments by communicating a compelling message to the best prospects with target accuracy and precision.

What Topics Will Be Covered? This is a highly interactive and personalized workshop designed to help every participant get organized, set specific goals and strategies to achieve their ideal sales and revenue projections more effectively, efficiently and enjoyably.

When and Where Do I Go? Bi-Annually on the 3rd Friday's of September and March, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Scibelli Enterprise Center location at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC).

AUTHENTIC BUSINESS LEADERS and MENTORS

Workshops are facilitated by SCORE members who bring authentic business experience to the classroom. Sharing proven methods they offer an interactive and safe setting to ask questions and explore business issues and directions. Attendees have an opportunity to clarify expectations for the workshops and typically share experiences among themselves.
